June Wellness Guide: Radiate
A Month of Movement, Connection & Self-Care in Cecil and Harford County
As we head into summer, June feels like an invitation to get outside, reconnect with ourselves, and embrace the things that help us feel our best.
At Be.Well. Bellezza Wellness, our theme this month is Radiate; a celebration of movement, connection, and self-care. Whether you're looking for a new wellness routine, local adventures, or opportunities to connect with others, here are a few ways to make the most of June.
June Wellness Challenge
This month, see if you can:
✓ Attend one community event
✓ Spend one hour outside each week
✓ Try a new movement practice
✓ Support a local business
✓ Drink more water
✓ Connect with an old friend
✓ Schedule time for yourself
A Little Inspiration
As I reflected on this month's theme of Radiate, I kept coming back to one idea: we often spend so much time focusing on where we want to go that we forget to appreciate how far we've already come.
Growth rarely happens overnight. It's built through small choices, consistent effort, and having the courage to take the next step, even when the entire path isn't clear.
While putting together this wellness guide, I found myself reflecting on the past 11 years of Be.Well. Bellezza Wellness and the incredible people who have been part of the journey along the way. It's a reminder that every chapter starts somewhere, and that today's reality was once just a dream.
If you haven't already read it, I recently shared a personal look back at the early days of my practice, my very first treatment room, and the people who helped make it all possible.
It's a story about gratitude, growth, and remembering where we started, even while we're dreaming about what's next.
Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing more reflections on growth, courage, and following the dreams that won't leave us alone.
Until then, I hope you find time this month to move, gather, glow, and radiate your own unique light.
With gratitude,
Dr. Danielle Bellezza

Movement doesn't have to mean intense workouts or hours at the gym. Sometimes the most meaningful movement is simply showing up and taking the first step.

Gather With Community
Wellness isn't just about what we eat or how often we exercise. Research continues to show that meaningful social connection is one of the most important factors in overall health and happiness.
That's why we created the CommuniTea Table.
Every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, we gather over tea and conversation to discuss wellness, life, and everything in between.
Just good conversation and community.
$5 at the door. Everyone is welcome.

Explore Local Wellness This Month
One of the best parts of living in Cecil and Harford County is having access to incredible outdoor spaces.
Consider adding one of these local adventures to your June calendar:
Elk Neck State Park
Hike the trails, visit Turkey Point Lighthouse, or simply enjoy views of the Chesapeake Bay.
Susquehanna State Park
Perfect for walking, biking, fishing, and connecting with nature.
Havre de Grace Waterfront
Spend an afternoon strolling through town, enjoying local shops, and watching the boats on the water.
Local Farmers Markets
June is peak season for strawberries, herbs, greens, and locally grown produce. Challenge yourself to try one new local ingredient each week.

Local Events We're Looking Forward To
One of the things I love most about wellness is that it often happens in community. Beyond our own events, there are several local gatherings that we look forward to every year and are excited to attend this month.
KarmaFest UNITY at Steppingstone Farm Museum
June 13–14, 2026
KarmaFest UNITY brings together wellness practitioners, healers, artists, musicians, vendors, and community members for a weekend focused on connection, inspiration, and holistic living. Held at the beautiful Steppingstone Farm Museum in Havre de Grace, it's one of our favorite local wellness events of the year, and we look forward to attending every June. (HDG Beacon)
Harmony Woods Music & Arts Fest
June 19–20, 2026
Hosted by the Maryland Center for the Arts in Bel Air, Harmony Woods Music & Arts Fest is a celebration of music, creativity, community, and the arts. With live music, local artists, food, and a family-friendly atmosphere, it's a wonderful reminder that wellness isn't just about health practices—it's also about joy, creativity, and spending time with others.
