This month, we're exploring the theme Radiate.
As I've been reflecting on that word, I realize that radiating is something that naturally happens when we feel healthy, rested, confident, and connected to ourselves.
For the past few years, my focus has largely been on everyone else. Like many moms of young children, there were seasons where simply getting through the day felt like enough. My routines changed. My priorities changed. And while I wouldn't trade these years for anything, somewhere along the way I stopped making the same time and space for myself that I so often encourage others to make for themselves.
Lately, as my children have gotten a little older and life has become slightly less chaotic, I've found myself returning to some of those routines. Not because I was unhappy with who I was, but because I missed feeling like myself.
I think a lot of women especially can relate to that feeling.
You wake up one day and realize you've spent so much time caring for everyone else that you've forgotten what it feels like to pour into your own cup.
For me, exploring microneedling became part of that process.
It wasn't about chasing perfection or trying to look younger. It was about taking an hour for myself. It was about looking in the mirror and recognizing that I deserve the same care, attention, and compassion that I so freely give to others.
As someone who values natural approaches to health and wellness, I was especially drawn to microneedling because it works with the body's own healing processes. By stimulating collagen and elastin production, it encourages the skin to do what it was designed to do: repair, restore, and renew.
And in a way, that feels fitting.
Because sometimes we need that reminder too.
That we are allowed to repair.
Allowed to restore.
Allowed to renew.
Sometimes self-care isn't about fixing what's wrong. Sometimes it's simply about reconnecting with yourself and creating space to feel like you again.
As someone who spends her days helping others feel their best, this has been a gentle reminder that wellness isn't just something I teach, it's something I need to practice too.
This season of life has taught me that self-care doesn't have to be extravagant.
Sometimes it's as simple as carving out an hour for yourself, trying something new, or choosing to invest in your own well-being without guilt.
If you're in a season where you're ready to reconnect with yourself, I hope this serves as your reminder that you are worthy of that care, too.
With gratitude,
Dr. Danielle
Your Guide to Microneedling Starts Here
If you're curious about microneedling, here's everything you need to know about how it works, what it can help with, and what to expect during your visit.
What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that uses very fine, sterile needles to create tiny micro-channels in the skin. This signals your body to naturally increase collagen and elastin production, helping to improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin over time.
What Can Microneedling Help With?
Microneedling can support:
Fine lines and early signs of aging
Acne scars and uneven texture
Enlarged-looking pores
Sun damage and uneven skin tone
Dullness and loss of glow
The goal isn't perfection.
The goal is helping you feel confident in the skin you're already in.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
We'll start by reviewing your goals and skin history before cleansing and preparing the skin. Most clients describe the sensation as light scratching or vibration.
After treatment, your skin may appear pink, similar to a mild sunburn, for 24–48 hours. We'll provide simple aftercare instructions to support the healing process and help you achieve the best results.
How Many Sessions Do I Need?
Many people notice a healthy glow after one session, but for best results we typically recommend a series of treatments. We'll personalize a plan based on your skin goals, timeline, and budget.
Continuing to Radiate
As we continue exploring what it means to radiate this month, I hope you'll remember that wellness isn't always about doing more.
Sometimes it's about giving yourself permission to receive care.
To rest.
To heal.
To invest in yourself.
Because when we feel our best, we naturally shine brighter in every area of our lives.
